  • The board of education accepted the donation of two framed photographs, above, from Rossford community members Dave and Judy Weaks. One portrait depicts the first graduating class of Rossford High School in 1924; the other, a front view of the school taken circa 1920s. In recognition of the district’s centennial celebration on May 3, 2023, which commemorated 100 years of education in downtown Rossford, the portraits are on display in the foyer of the Rossford Junior-Senior High School auditorium.

    At the June 12 meeting, the Rossford board of education acted on a number of personnel matters.

    They accepted resignations from Carla Tipton, cafeteria/playground aide, effective May 30 and Chantillie Frazier, bus driver, August 1.

    Issued one-year classified contracts were Joe Tallman and Jodi Nichpor, bus drivers, 4.5 hours, $23.07 per hour.
