With a budget of $226 million, the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission is gearing up for capital improvement projects across the 241-mile toll road this summer.
The turnpike traverses through 13 counties in northern Ohio including Lucas and Wood, which will be impacted by some of the work.
That work entails the modernization of the toll collection system at toll plaza interchanges.
