The Northwestern Water and Sewer District has provided the following updates on projects. All work is weather permitting.

Perrysburg Township: Ford Road pump station replacement

Through September, Ford Road, between White Road and Lindsay Drive will be closed for sanitary sewer installation. The posted detour is Simmons Road, State Route 795 and White Road. The project is expected to be complete in April 2023.

District-wide hydrant flushing

This week, from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., crews will be flushing hydrants north of Roachton Road in Perrysburg Township. Starting August 29 and running through November, crews will move to the Toledo water service area including Rossford, Walbridge, Lake Township and parts of Northwood.

Residents are advised to flush water from their taps if the water becomes discolored. Avoid doing laundry until water is clear.

District-wide valve maintenance

Through August, crews will be in areas between U.S. Route 20 and State Route 795, and areas north of the Ohio Turnpike in Perrysburg Township for valve maintenance.

This involves turning valves on waterlines, which can occasionally cause water to become discolored. Residents are advised to flush their taps if this occurs. Valve maintenance work will continue in various locations throughout through December. For more information, call 1-877-354-9090 or visit nwwsd.org.
