A new Rossford police officer, Alec Vaughn, was sworn into office at the May 9 Rossford City Council meeting by Mayor Neil MacKinnon III.

He previously worked for Washington and Clay township police departments for two years.

Officer Vaughn is a graduate of Central Catholic High School and holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Toledo.
