Travis Whitmore is the newest officer to join the Rossford Police Department.
He was sworn in at the November 8 city council meeting by Mayor Neil MacKinnon III. Officer Whitmore was accompanied by his wife Marissa.
Police Chief Todd Kitzler told council the new patrolman is a U.S. Army veteran who served until 2018.
