Local residents can customize their Christmas cards and holiday party invitations with a new service from Welch Publishing Co.

Full color, glossy cards are 8.5 by 11 inches folded, either landscape or portrait style, and printed on heavy cardstock. Other options are available.

Families will find these make the perfect Christmas cards or holiday party invitations, and a keepsake of memories of children’s artwork or family memories.

“Conveniently, all arrangements can be made over the phone or by email,” said Diana Wright, graphic designer at Welch Publishing.

Text for the cover and inside of the card should be supplied.

On the back, the cards can be personalized.

The artwork can be sent to Welch Publishing via email.

“Or, you can bring them in, and we’ll scan it immediately and return it to you,” she explained.

Designs preferably should be on light-colored paper up to 8.5 by 11 inches in size. Customers will be able to see a proof of the card before it is printed to make any adjustments or additions.

“We want to make this the easy part of your holiday planning,” Mrs. Wright said. “And we have a quick turnaround for orders.”

The cost is $65 for 25 cards, $112.50 for 50 cards or $200 for 100 cards, and envelopes are included.
