Hertzfeld Poultry in Wood County will receive $4.1 million in funding through the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Rural Development program.

On February 9, the USDA awarded $5.67 million to northwest Ohio agricultural businesses.

Hertzfeld Poultry was given the business and industry loan guarantee which will provide working capital to the family-owned egg production facility.
