The number of COVID-19 cases in Wood County last week was the highest it has been since January 12.

As of presstime September 21, the following numbers were released by the Wood County Health Department:

•15,513 cases since March 2020–an increase of 558 in the past week. 338 cases (or 60 percent) were among patients age 29 and younger.
