As of presstime June 22, the following numbers were released by the Wood County Health Department:

•13,290 cases since March 2020–an increase of 13 since last week.

•227 deaths (one more since last week) and 655 hospitalizations since March 2020 (no increase in the past three weeks).

Active cases in Wood County by zip code were not updated for this week. According to the Ohio Department of Health, 5,520,163 Ohioans have received at least the first round of the COVID-19 vaccine, which equals 47.2 percent of the population.

In Wood County, 67,465 people, or 51.6 percent of the population, have been vaccinated with at least the first dose. In Lucas County, there have been 198,868 people, or 46.4 percent, vaccinated with at least the first dose.
