A story in the September 16 edition stated that Rossford City Council heard the first reading of an ordinance to purchase three police vehicles by buying them outright instead of through a lease-purchase process.
Council voted on a motion to suspend the rule to read the ordinance at three separate meetings and vote immediately on it, but the motion failed 4-3.
