Citizens Police Academy students experience virtual reality training -

On October 4, members of the Rossford Citizens Police Academy, conducted by the Rossford Police Department, were able to experience police training by using virtual reality (VR).
Wood County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Andy Taylor explained the benefits and uses. The headsets are manufactured by Axon, which also produces body cameras, tasers and other law enforcement support equipment.
