Due to coronavirus concerns, the Rossford Fire and Rescue Department will not host its annual open house this month.

The celebration usually takes place during National Fire Prevention Week, which is October 3 to 9.

Fire Chief Josh Drouard said the department is offering free smoke detectors to local residents.
