Richard was born at home on Oak Street in Rossford, to Valerian and Helen (Knurek) Gwozdz.

•WILLIAM LEROY BOCKELMAN February 26,1940 - May 7,2024 William (Bill) L. Bockelman, age 84, of Rossford, passed away on May 7, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, surrounded by love.

Helen Antionette (Durco) Proch, born June 4, 1933, in Rossford, passed away at her home on April 14, 2024, in Littleton, Colorado. Helen was the daughter of Anthony J. and Henrietta (Wojton) Durco. She married Eugene Proch in Rossford, on October 17, 1953, and they enjoyed 51 years of marriage together, moving to Colorado in 1972.

The family of David C. Olwick is saddened to announce his passing on April 24, 2024. He passed surrounded by his loving wife, three daughters and three stepsons. Dave was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Terry C. Eckel, age 77, of Perrysburg, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

On Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio, Patricia (Pati) Diane (Kish) Grove passed into the loving hands of God at 7:32 p.m., due to an infection of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

•SHIRLEY A. (ARTZ) BETTINGER Shirley A. (Artz) Bettinger, 89 of Perrysburg, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was bom at home in Perrysburg, on October 6, 1934, to Ralph J. and Edna (Hahn) Artz. She married her husband, Thomas A. Bettinger on November 5, 1955, at Zoar Lutheran Church, where she was a lifelong member. Shirley and Tom spent almost 65 years together until his passing in 2020.

Virginia Mae Shelt, 93, of Rossford, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Kingston in Perrysburg. She was born in Toledo, on February 2, 1931, to Carl and Christina (Venclik) Wohlmuth.

Steven L. Helton, 76 of Rossford, took his first step towards heaven on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.

Joanne Vedra, 83, of Maumee, formerly of Rossford, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Lakes of Monclova Assisted Living facility. Joanne was born on September 9, 1940, in Toledo, to Florian and Sophia (Rudnicki) Lawniczak.
