Norman Losonsky, age 75, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2018, after a long illness at the Genesis Health Care Center in Sylvania, Ohio. He was born in Rossford, in 1942, to Joseph and Sophie (Stachowicz) Losonsky. Norm’s whole life was all about sports. He played baseball for the Minnesota Twins minor league team, played basketball, softball and bowled up until his illness began. When he wasn’t playing a sport he would watch his favorite teams, the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and Ohio State. Norm proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed by the Toledo Edison Company until his retirement. Norm is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Kathy; sons, Todd (Jenny) Losonsky, Keith Losonsky and Brad (Angie) Losonsky; granddaughters, Mazie Losonsky and Marissa Sloan. Also surviving is his brother-in-law, Jim Bartosky and his wife, Kathie. Family and friends may visit at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Rd. Rossford, on Saturday, January 13, from 10 a.m., until the time of services which will begin at noon in the funeral home with the Rev. Anthony Recker officiating. Interment will be private.
