More than 2,500 area eighth-graders from 16 school districts served by Penta Career Center, visited the Perrysburg Township campus March 10 and 11 to explore a variety of jobs at the annual Career Expo.

Student visitors spent one hour exploring displays and participating in hands-on activities in the fields of computers, digital video, automotive, construction, culinary, public safety, medical, manufacturing and business.

Career center staff and students spent the past few weeks preparing career exploration activities and information for students to begin thinking about occupational interests, explained Penta Director Jeff Kurtz.
