Former mayor: Manufacturing is Rossford’s ‘bread and butter’
After reflecting on Rossford’s century of manufacturing history, city council may reconsider a zoning request to add more industrially-zoned land.
At Monday’s council meeting, Mayor Neil MacKinnon III resurrected a zoning change request that was defeated last month by council.
The mayor invited former mayor Mark Zuchowski, who now serves as the city zoning inspector, to discuss the proposed plan to open the area along I-75 for development.
“I was surprised last week at the vote,” Mr. Zuchowski said. “I was excited by this project.”
