County, state candidates file for election
Candidates for four local offices have filed to run for election this year.
February 7 was the deadline for county and state candidates to file with the Wood County Board of Elections.
Molly Mack of Perrysburg Township, who currently serves as judge of Perrysburg Municipal Court, filed to run for Wood County Common Pleas judge.
She would replace Judge Reeve Kelsey, former mayor of Perrysburg, who is retiring. According to the Ohio Revised Code, common pleas judges can be a maximum of 70 years old.
No Democrat filed in the judge’s race, but independent candidates may file up until May 7.
