City income tax increase headed to ballot
An increase in the Rossford city income tax is headed to the November ballot for voters to decide if that is a method they would like to use to pay for road repairs. At a special meeting on Monday, Rossford City Council unanimously approved an ordinance to increase the tax 0.25 percent–going from 2.25 percent to 2.5 percent. City Administrator Mike Scott said the added income tax will generate about $500,000 annually.
