Bulldogs aim to ‘grow up fast’ on Friday nights
In 2016, the Rossford varsity football team compiled a 6-4 record. Their 5-2 mark in the Northern Buckeye Conference was good enough to tie for second and narrowly miss a return to the playoffs.
One year later, the Bulldogs face a different set of circumstances. After losing 18 players to graduation—many of whom were skill positions like quarterback and three on the offensive line—Rossford finds itself in the middle of a youth movement. With only four returning starters and just three others who played a significant role last year, Head Coach Todd Drusback indicated that his team “will need to grow up fast.
