Board of ed approves $800,000 for ballfield project

Construction is under way on new baseball and softball fields for the Rossford school district to be ready for the spring season.

At a December 14 meeting, the Rossford Board of Education approved several contracts related to the major upgrade of the fields on Lime City Road.

A $756,000 contract with Maumee Bay Turf Center was authorized for the project.

Also approved was a proposal provided by Program Solutions Group LLC for owner’s representative services at a cost of $16,500.
