Agricultural parcels changed to industrial zoning along Lime City, Glenwood roads

By a split vote of 4-3, Rossford City Council agreed to change the zoning for a large tract of vacant farmland along I-75, hoping it will attract new businesses and jobs for the community.

The vote at the December 27 meeting was Council members Larry Oberdorf, Caroline Zuchowski-Eckel, Greg Marquette and Chris Heban voting in favor, and Councilmen Robert Ruse, Bob Densic and Jerry Staczek opposed.

The vote reversed a November decision of council that unanimously rejected the zoning change for four parcels from A agricultural to PC planned commercial and three parcels from A agricultural to PI planned industrial. It was requested by Jim and Robin Fuller, Matthew Warton, Bonnie Jean Brossia and Carol Brossia Stephens.
