FREDDIE KUGLER

Freddie W. Kugler, 77, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at home with his loving daughters by his side. He was born on August 10, 1940, to the late Fred J. and Ruby G. (Quinn) Kugler. Freddie worked at Libbey- Owens-Ford, Rossford, as an auto glass manufacturer cutting glass. He was a former fireman for the Morin Point Fire Department. Freddie was a member of the Outings Unlimited Club, Ottawa River Yacht Club, Masonic Lodge, and the Erie Sportsman Club. He enjoyed fishing and fish cleaning, garage sales, deer hunting, riding his scooter, and wintering in Naples, Florida. He is survived by his daughters, Toni Baker and Penny Whipple; grandchildren, Tiffany (Derek), Misty, Amanda (Mike), Todd (Brittany) and Mariah (Jake), and six great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Janet; infant daughter, Tammy; sister, Wilma Harris; and son-in-law, Bill Baker. Visitation and funeral services were held on December 20, in the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 North Summit Street, Toledo, with the Rev. Jon Komperda officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Promedica Hospice.
