Dell F. LaLonde, age 69, of Toledo’s Point Place Community passed away December 31, 2018 in the Toledo Hospital.
He was born November 16, 1949, in Toledo, to Delbert and Frieda (Neiman) LaLonde.
Prior to his retirement in 1999, Dell worked as a splicer for AT&T for 30 years.
He was a member of Bayview Yacht Club and over the years had restored three boats.
Dell was a “Jack of All Trades,” who excelled in carpentry and loved working on old cars, especially his corvette. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.
Dell is survived by his wife of 45 years, Freda; children, Douglas (Erin) LaLonde and Krista (Daniel) Bushey; grandchildren, Rylee, Skylee, Dylan and Tyler; several very close nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law; and grand-dogs, “Molly” and “Hemi.”
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Beverly Pakulski.
Family and friends visited Friday, January 4, from 2 to 8 p.m., in the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 North Summit Street, Toledo.
Funeral services for Dell were held Saturday, January 5, at 11 a.m., in Messiah Lutheran Church, preceded by visitation in the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment followed in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
