Young Artists at Work program premier to be held on August 2
Forty-two teens from the Greater Toledo region are working as paid artists for six weeks of their summer as apprentices in The Arts Commission’s Young Artists at Work (YAAW) program.
The YAAW program is activated with several major projects this summer. The shelter facility of the Ottawa Park Ice Rink will see a new interior mural; an exterior mural is being created for the backside of the Wilson Park pool building, and a suite of artworks will be created for the public lobby spaces of Lucas County Job and Family Services offices as well for the Child Support Enforcement Agency common spaces.
