Manhattan Marsh metropark opens in north Toledo

The third new Metropark to open in 2020, Manhattan Marsh, was quietly introduced to the public last fall amid an increase in coronavirus cases.

The park on Clifford Street in Toledo’s North River neighborhood provides an oasis in the city and is built around its namesake wetland.

With the opening of Manhattan Marsh, Metroparks Toledo fulfills a promise to place a Metropark within five miles of every Lucas County resident.
