Local apprentices repair school piping
Apprentices from Local Union 45 completed insulation repairs at Keyser Elementary school last week. A group of 16 students completed the 10-day project by patching worn-down and replacing missing insulation on the school’s heating pipes. The apprentices worked under the guidance of instructors. The work was part of the apprentices’ “on the job training” requirement and counted toward the completion of their training. Local Union 45 is located in Point Place and is part of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators.
