Holidays at Manor House brings spirit of the season to life through Dec. 17
The 42nd annual Holidays in the Manor House opened Saturday, December 2, and continues through Sunday, December 17, at Wildwood Preserve Metropark. The event is open each day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and admission is free.
Metroparks officials, expecting another large crowd this year, responded by extending the event to 16 days. Last year, nearly 30,000 visitors toured the Manor House.
Volunteers throughout the 30,000-square-foot house welcome and direct visitors on the self-guided tour of 32 displays. They also will be assisting with children’s activities at nearby Metroparks Hall, or will be stoking the fire and supplying visitors with cookies and marshmallows to make s’mores at the welcome tent.
