Wesley B. Westervelt, 82, of Perrysburg, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, January 19, 2019, surrounded by his loving wife Jeanne.
Wesley was born January 2, 1937, in Toledo, to Howard W. and Helen A. (Bradley) Westervelt. He married Jeanne G. Goslee on April 12, 1980, in Toledo. Wesley was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.
He was a machinist for Modine Industries in Pemberville, for 23 years, retiring in 2000. He was a longtime member of Perrysburg Alliance Church.
Wesley is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne; brothers-in-law, George Hipp and David Deaton, and many nieces, nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Helen Westervelt; sisters, Barbara Miller and Nancy Adams, and sisters-in law, Joanne Hipp and Carol Ann Deaton.
Friends were received Saturday, January 26, at Perrysburg Alliance Church, 10401 Avenue Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m., with Pastor Brian Elmer, officiating. Burial was private at Highland Memory Gardens.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
