KEITH TYMIAK

Keith Tymiak, age 56, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018, at his home. Keith was a hardworking, lovable man who would give the shirt off his back to help friends and neighbors. He loved his wife Lisa, his high school sweetheart who he knew since he was 10, and his sons Wes and Brad. He was born February 3, 1962, to Rosemary and Joseph Tymiak and grew up in Rossford. Keith loved to snowmobile, go four wheeling and be on the water, either boating or jet-skiing. He also loved his Labrador retrievers and would play with them by throwing their ball or playing in the pond with them. He could always be found working in his garage, and ran his business KT Automotive from his home. He was always helping others and could fix about anything that was broken. He even built his own home with the help of friends. He lived life to the fullest and had many good friends. For over 11 years he and his sister hosted volleyball tournaments at their home to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation, as his sister died from the disease in 1997. He had been hampered the last few years with numerous illnesses that didn’t allow him to work at what he loved. He is survived by his wife Lisa of 35 years; son, Brad; brother, Craig Tymiak; sister, Diane (Eileen Weithman) Tymiak; father-in-law, Fritz Shufeldt; brothers-in-law, Tracy (Amy) Shufeldt and Steve (Dondi) Shufeldt; sisters-in-law, Tammy (Craig) Reaves and Cheryl (Bob) Reitzel. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son, Wesley; parents, Joseph and Rosemary Tymiak; sister, Sharon Wallace; mother-in-law, Pat Shufeldt, and niece, Ashley Reitzel. Family and friends visited at the Sujkowski Funeral Home of Rossford, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford, on Saturday, July 7. Funeral services were held Sunday, July 8, at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 East Indiana Avenue, Perrysburg. Interment was private. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Lukemia and Lymphoma Society at donate.lls.org or the Wesley Tymiak Memorial Scholarship.
