Winfield E. Pendleton, age 81, of Perrysburg, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018, joining his beloved wife, Donna. Winfield “Win” was born on December 28, 1936, in Gary, Indiana, to William and Marjorie Pendleton. He grew up in Merrillville, Indiana, and he was a graduate of Western Michigan University where he also played baseball. Win also proudly served in the United States Navy. After serving in the Navy and graduating from college, Win obtained his CPA and worked with various accounting firms and companies during his career, retiring in 2001 from Franklin Electric. He was an avid sports fan and coached little league baseball and soccer in Perrysburg. Winfield was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Pendleton; parents, William and Marjorie Pendleton, and brother, Ronald (Charlotte) Pendleton. He leaves to cherish in his memory, sons, Bradford Pendleton of Perrysburg and Winston (Dolores) Pendleton of Waxhaw, North Carolina; his daughters, Judy and Debbie from a previous marriage; stepdaughter, Vickie (Larry) Gable of Toledo, and stepson, Keith Munch of Perrysburg; six grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren; along with his devoted pet beagles, Ben and Chloe. The family would like to thank the staff at the VA of Toledo for their dedicated support of Winfield, and requests that any donations in his memory be made to the various Toledo area VFW and American Legion posts. Services will be private.
