Trustees approve change in zoning for Neiderhouse parcel

A Perrysburg Township property–subject of a referendum petition and lawsuit in the past–will revert to its original zoning.

At the January 3 meeting, the Perrysburg Township trustees unanimously agreed to rezone 37.9 acres of the 40.671-acre parcel at Neiderhouse Road and State Route 199 from R-3 suburban residential to A-1 agricultural.

Nick Neiderhouse of Lakeside Drive requested the original change to allow development of the property for large singlefamily residential lots.

Kelly Hemminger, zoning inspector, said the change, which is in keeping with several neighboring parcels, was recommended for approval by both the township and Wood County planning commissions.
