Ten candidates apply for city prosecutor position

After the rejection of the city prosecutor nomination due to concerns on the process, Mayor Tom Mackin addressed Perrysburg City Council and residents on February 20, stating the following:
 
“Having a qualified city prosecutor in place is certainly one of those things that is in the city’s best interest. In order to fill that open position, I asked that it be publicly posted on Friday, February 9. Candidates will be accepted for approximately five more days. I’ve also asked that applications first be reviewed by the human resources department to remove unqualified candidates.
