Teamwork•Integrity•Honesty•Family–core values of fire division

Perrysburg Fire Division responded to 2,400 calls for service last year

In the Perrysburg Fire Division’s 2016 annual report, Fire Chief Jeff Klein stated that fire prevention education, risk reduction methods as well as illness and injury prevention continue to be a high priority of the fire division.

“Any time we are called to respond, it equals a tragedy in someone’s life,” he said. “Our goal is to prevent the tragedy from occurring, and if it can’t be prevented, to minimize the impact helping our citizens return to normalcy as fast as possible. We accomplish this through various initiatives such as CPR classes, fire safety trailer, and participation at community events as well as fire safety inspections for all public buildings.”
