Planning commission mulls changes to Rotary Park

The Perrysburg planning commission met June 27 and heard from Jeff Normand, local architect and member of Rotary Club of Perrysburg, who presented some hoped-for amendments to Rotary Community Park’s master plan.

The changes include increasing the number of parking spaces, adding more tennis courts and developing open spaces for athletic fields.

Brody Walters, city planning and zoning administrator, submitted the following report for review:

“Rotary Community Park has been in design since at least 2008. Over time, features and amenities have been added or changed.

Because of the changes, the park looks and functions slightly different today from what was originally envisioned.
