Local leaders explore three water supply options
The delicate and often uncertain relationship between the City of Toledo and neighboring communities can make a tenuous foundation for regional water cooperation.
However, Rex Huffman, long-time attorney for the Northwestern Water and Sewer District, is confident that a partnership is possible.
“The dialogue between the city and suburbs has never been better, in my opinion,” he said at a town hall forum December 18 hosted by the NWSD.
The district serves 19,800 customers in Perrysburg Township, Rossford and many other communities in Wood, Hancock and Sandusky counties.
