OSBA, SLS seek state, federal support to combat school violence
Recent shootings in a Parkland, Florida high school prompted the Ohio School Boards Association to seek support from the state and federal governments to combat school violence.
On February 24, the OSBA board of trustees passed a resolution asking the governmental bodies to prioritize protection by funding:
• Enhanced mental health services and substance abuse treatment so that all individuals including children, have sufficient access to these services;
