Funeral services for Karina K. Sharrer, 45, of Lufkin, were held Monday, February 19, 2018, at 10 a.m., in the Eastview Pentecostal Church with Pastor David Hunt and Pastor Rick Martin officiating. Interment followed in the Fielder Memorial Cemetery. Karina was born September 19, 1972, in Harvey, North Dakota, to Sheryl (Button) and Arlen Martwick, and died Thursday, February 15, 2018, at her residence. Karina lived in Lufkin for 10 years and was a loving wife and mother of two. She was a member of Eastview Pentecostal Church and deeply involved in children ministries. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Edward Sharrer of Lufkin; stepson, Eddie Sharrer of Lufkin; son, Kye Sharrer of Lufkin; daughter, Kady Sharrer of Lufkin; parents, Arlen and Sheryl Martwick of Bismarck, North Dakota; sister, Melissa Courtade and husband Paul of Conklin, Michigan; brother, Joel Martwick of Bismarck, North Dakota; mother-inlaw, Judith Sharrer of Lufkin, and numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were Chester Bowman, Kevin Porter, Bobby Cheshire, Bill Frizzle, Jay Boyd and Conlen Jones.
