Anneliese Theda Minna Benjamin
Anneliese Theda Minna Benjamin, 84, of Findlay, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017. She joins her beloved husband of 64 years, Jimmy Benjamin. Anneliese and Jimmy Benjamin were married December 24, 1952. They resided and raised a family in Findlay. She is predeceased by her parents, Emil and Gertje Sternberger; her brothers, Werner and Claus Sternberger, and grandson, David Paul Kodysh. Anneliese was born on August 11, 1933, in Bremerhaven, Germany. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church. Anneliese enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed bingo, shopping, a good cup of coffee with her daughters and mystery novels. Her resilient smile and light will be missed. Anneliese is survived by her daughters, Laurie (John) Kodysh of Toledo, and Karen (John) Zoll of Southampton, Ontario; six grandchildren, Robert (Bethany) Kodysh and their children, Rachel and William; Jeffery Kodysh, Stephen (Angela) Kodysh and their daughter Olivia; Jane Kodysh, Jacob and Jonah Zoll. She also is survived by two brothers, Emil Sternberger and Hans Sternberger of Germany. Her family would like to thank the staff at Birchaven, her doctors, and Bridge Hospice for her excellent care. Anneliese’s wishes were to keep all services private. Hufford Family Funeral Home, 1500 Manor Hill Road, Findlay (419-422- 1500) was entrusted with the arrangements. Interment took place in Zion Bloom Cemetery, Vanlue, Ohio.
