PPBA to celebrate 70th year of service to community

The Point Place Business Association (PPBA) will celebrate 70 years of service to the Point Place and Shoreland businesses and the community in 2018.

The year long celebration kicks off with a banquet on Wednesday, January 17, at the Toledo Yacht Club. The festivities begin at 6 p.m., with music by local harpist Jennifer Meehan Grycza. Mrs. Grycza was a recipient of a scholarship from the Point Place Scholarship Foundation in 2004.

A buffet dinner by Kelly’s Catering will be served at 6:30 p.m.

The evening’s program will be led by District 6 Toledo City Councilwoman Lindsay Webb. A look back at the rich history and accomplishments of PPBA over the past 70 years will be featured.
