Twp. Trustees approve road extension for new development
Plans to extend the service road that runs in front of Lowe’s and Kohl’s from Thompson Road to Oakmead Drive hit a snag.
At the November 15 meeting of the Perrysburg Township trustees, Jake Modestow of Stonefield Engineering and Design, representing the developer Fremont Pike LLC, requested the township pay for 200 feet of the extension because it is public roadway.
He estimated the cost to the township at $200,000 and said the developer will pay for the remainder of the road, which runs across 10411 Fremont Pike.
The developer owns the property where the former Lievens Market was located.
