Growth will be a challenge for the district, also an opportunity
The five candidates seeking a seat on the Perrysburg Board of Education agree that growth will be a challenge for the school district but also view it as a possible opportunity.
On November 7, Perrysburg School District voters will cast ballots for three seats on the board. Candidates are incumbents Eric Benington, Gretchen Downs and Sue Larimer; first-time candidate Dr. Dora Lopez and write-in candidate Kelly Ewbank.
Recently, the Perrysburg Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a candidates forum for chamber members and guests. Chamber president Drew Griffith served as moderator and board candidates had the opportunity to address the group in opening and closing statements and answer several predetermined questions.
