Julius A. Wadas-Keogh, age 73, beloved son, brother, and uncle, returned home to Our Lord on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, after struggling with multiple health issues. Julius was born to Julius and Beatrice (Topolewski) Wadas Sr. on April 17, 1944, in Toledo. In 1951, Julius, his mother and stepfather, Thomas L. Keogh II, moved to Point Place, where he spent a happy childhood, helping to raise his sister and two brothers. Many memories were made by the entire family traveling. For many years, Julius worked for Lott Industries and maintained his own apartment with the help of his good friend, Mrs. Rose Duren. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather. Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Terry Keogh; brothers, Thomas (Debbie) Keogh III and Tim Keogh, and many nieces and nephews. His Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, September 2, at noon, in St. Michael the Archangel Church, 420 Sandusky Street, Toledo, with Fr. David Cirata officiating. Interment was in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. To leave a special message for Julius’ family please visit www.NewcomerToledo.com.
