Springfield Township trustees address updates of master plan, zoning resolution
It has been 14 years since Springfield Township revised its master plan for development, and planning director Jacob Barnes believes it is “long overdue” for an overhaul.
“We think we have a good document, but it’s obviously in need of updates,” Mr. Barnes told the trustees at the February 5 meeting.
The planning director likes the plan’s format and called the document a “good base.” But traffic studies, maps and other areas need modernized.
He also noted the document may not reflect current standards.
“I’d like to keep it [the process] as simple as possible,” he added.
