Penta Career Center welcomes new staff
At the September 13 meeting, the Penta Career Center Board of Education welcomed staff members, who are joining the district for 2017-18.
They are Jessica Arbuckle, adult education coordinator; Barbara Brinke, student affairs instructional aide; Amy Carey, early childhood education instructor; Theresa Fitkin and Keverne VanDorp, cafeteria workers; Tim Ford, assistant supervisor of student affairs; Chad Greeley, adult education evening coordinator; Austin Halterman and Patricia Winter, instructional aides, culinary arts; David Hufford, interim supervisor of manufacturing and construction; Justin Kuohn and Julie Zuchowski, seasonal maintenance; Paul Perry, fire science/EMT instructor; Ashley Severt, business instructor at Otsego; Karen Smigelski, curriculum department secretary; Lori Stein, board office administrative assistant; Ashley Thorp, preschool instructional aide; Emma Vierheller, mathematics instructor; Jessica Vollmar, family and consumer sciences teacher at Otsego, and Carolyn Walton, instructional aide for VOSE (vocational special education).
“I’m really pleased with this group of teachers and support staff. They’re really engaged,” said Jeff Kurtz, career center director.
