Penta Career Center BOE welcomes new member, selects 2019 president, vice president
At the first meeting of 2019, the Penta Career Center board of education administered the oath of office to a new member and elected two members to serve as president and vice president.
Dr. James Telb of Maumee who represents the Educational Service Center Lake Erie West was sworn in. The retired Lucas County sheriff replaces Joe Rutherford, who resigned last month.
Dr. Telb also is a retired professor of criminal justice at the University of Toledo. He will serve the remainder of Mr. Rutherford’s term which ends December 31.
The new board member is looking forward to serving the career center. “I am enjoying my time on the ESC board and looking forward to helping out here where and when I can.”
