Maintenance Dept. performs tasks as district awaits return of students to school buildings
School may not be in session on Springfield campuses, but the buildings are nonetheless a flurry of activity.
At the September 9 meeting, Dustin Hamilton, maintenance director, updated the board of education on maintenance projects being performed by members of OAPSE as per the memorandum of understanding.

Mr. Hamilton said employees are doing a variety of sprucing up tasks, including painting in all facilities, repaving the walk track at Holloway, providing a facelift to the high school office and performing daily disinfecting of hallways and classrooms.
