Golfers ‘Tee it up for Technology’ benefitting Springfield Local Schools
On July 31, 19 teams competed in the 2017 “Tee it up for Technology” golf outing sponsored by the Springfield Schools Foundation. Held at Stone Oak Country Club, the event featured 18 holes of golf with cart, a meal and prizes.
Finishing first with 14 under par were, above left, RJ Rajner, Scott Walsh, Matt Gaynier and Joe Glass. Taking second place were Tod Phillips, John Raitz, Clint Schreiber and Brett McBride, while third place honors went to Brad Kerns, Greg Kerns, Brian Kerns and Paul Mattei.
Awards were given in other categories as well. Taking closest to the pin was Mr. McBride on hole four and Rick Helminski on hole 16. For the ladies, the honor went to Anita Melby. Keith Burwell had the longest drive.
