Laura Ann Rupert and Douglas Edward Marcum Jr.

Laura Ann Rupert and Douglas Edward Marcum Jr. were joined in marriage October 5, 2007, during a double- ring nuptial Mass ceremony at Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral in Toledo. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Paul Kwiatkowski.
The bride is the daughter of Les and Carol Rupert of Lambertville, Michigan.
The bridegroom is the son of Douglas Sr. and Nancy Marcum of Toledo.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. The Maid of Honor was Emily Wisniewski. Bridesmaids were Christine Ringlein, Jennifer Smith, Victoria Lenke, Alexandria Niklis and Gwen Nussbaum. Shane Marcum, brother of the bridegroom, was the Best Man. Groomsmen were Randy Keegan, Eugene Royzman, Adam Foltz, Richard Tursich, and Jeremy Rupert, brother of the bride. Music was provided by organist Paul Monachino, trumpeter Brian Bushong and cantor Helen Szczerba. A reception was held at Tamaron Country Club in Toledo.
The couple took a wedding trip to Palm Beach, Florida.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Bedford High School and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Toledo in 2005, with a bachelor of business administration degree in marketing. She is employed as a research associate with TNS Custom Research in Northwood, Ohio.
The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Whitmer High School, and a 2005 graduate of the University of Toledo, where he received a bachelor of business administration degree in marketing. He is employed as a research associate with TNS Custom Research in Northwood. As the clock struck midnight, the DJ played “Happy Birthday, and family and friends sang to Laura. Everyone then enjoyed a piece of cookie cake the bridegroom brought to surprise his bride.
The couple recently moved into their newly-built home in Perrysburg.
