JUNE BOLYARD
June “Sis” (Philabaum) Bolyard of Holland, died August 26, 2008, at Hospice of Perrysburg. She started her career with Lucas Co. Bank as a teller and retired from Huntington Bank in 1987. She enjoyed cooking, and came out of retirement briefly to cook for the children at KinderCare Learning Center. As a long time member of Providence Lutheran Church, Ms. Bolyard enjoyed serving God and the church for more than 35 years. She enjoyed singing “old Bible Hymns.” She is survived by her daughters, Nancy and Christine; son-in-law, John; granddaughters, Rabyn, Jessica and Kaitlyn; brother, the Rev. Bernie Philabaum, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Virgil; her son, Johnny; daughter, Jan, and twin brother, Alfred Philabaum. A Memorial Service was held August 28, at Providence Lutheran Church, Holland. Arrangements were made by the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee. SUSANNE WANDERSEE
Susanne L. Wandersee, 51, of Holland, died Sunday, August 24, 2008, at home. A 1974 graduate of Rogers High School, she was one of the first female insulators and a retired member of Local No. 45. She enjoyed traveling, NASCAR and was an animal enthusiast. She is survived by her mother, Lois Wandersee of Maumee; sisters, Deborah (Rick) Beier of Maryland Heights, Missouri and Lyn She is survived by her mother, Lois Wandersee of Maumee; sisters, Deborah (Rick) Beier of Maryland Heithts, Missouri and Lynn Clark of Northwood; nieces, Brittany Price and Lindsey Breier; nephew, Billy Breier, and many friends. Ms. Wandersee was preceded in death by her father, Harley Wandersee, and sister Candace Sue Price. Funeral services were held August 29, in the Reeb Funeral Home. Burial was in Toledo Memorial Park.
